Our payment and cancellation policy

We understand life happens and plans change, so we always try to be as flexible as possible around payments and cancellations. However, we hope you understand that as we have to pay in advance for venues and reserve our own time to run retreats, we are not always able to refund any money, particularly if you need to cancel at short notice. Please see below for more detail on our payment and cancellation policy. 

What do I need to pay to secure my place?

  • If you book a weekend residential retreat more than two months in advance, we ask for either payment in full OR a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your place. If you pay a deposit, the balance of payment is due two months before the retreat. We’ll send a reminder when it’s due – if we don’t receive the balance of payment, we may not be able to hold your place.

  • If you book within two months of a weekend retreat, we request payment in full on booking to secure your place.

  • For day retreats, we require payment in full when you book.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Weekend retreats

  • If you have paid in full and need to cancel two months or more before the weekend retreat start date, we will return 50% of your payment. The 50% deposit is non-refundable.

  • If you cancel within two months of a weekend retreat start date, we will try to fill your place – if we do, we will refund 50% of your fee. Please note we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to find a guest to replace you, in which case we regret we will be unable to refund any money.

Day retreats

  • If you need to cancel your place on a day retreat more than one month in advance, we’ll either refund your fee or hold it for transfer to an alternative day retreat. If you cancel your place within one month of the day retreat, we’ll do our best to fill your space and issue a refund, but otherwise will be unable to offer a refund.  

 What happens if you cancel the retreat or event?

In the unlikely event we have to cancel, we will of course refund your payment in full immediately.

I’d love to come on one of your weekend or day retreats but can’t afford it at the moment. Do you offer any reductions for those on low pay?

Occasionally, we’re able to offer reduced-price places. This is often dependent on how many others have booked, and on spaces available, so we can’t promise reduced prices on every retreat. Please do get in touch with us to discuss.
